I'm not sure I have a favourite. RyanAir and EasyJet come to mind, simply because of the low prices. I've yet to find an American airline that isn't shite (and I work for one!). Many of the Asian airlines are supposed to be really nice, and of course, there's Emirates. Eos might have to be the big winner, though, as they really are all first class.
I don't know what kind of drug 9lives is on, though. Delta is hardly "all first class". It's yet another crappy American airline with poor service. I flew on them to Rio once, on an old, crappy 737 and it wasn't bad, just not mentionable. Plus I don't like all the old flight attendants with hick accents!
Basically, choose a non-US airline whenever possible.

Malaysia Airlines is my favourite one. Malaysia Airlines (Abbreviated: MAS ; Malay: Penerbangan Malaysia) is the national airline of Malaysia, serving international and domestic destinations. It is one of only four airlines to have been awarded a 5-star rating by Skytrax.
Select is the in-flight entertainment system of Malaysia Airlines. Pasengeres can choose over 500 hours of audio and video programming. With 200 music CDs and 40 movies on-demand available, passengers can start, stop, forward and rewind their selected programme at will. A touch screen personal TV is available for First Class passengers and Golden Club Class (Business Class) on board Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 777-200 aircraft. This makes the journey enjoyable.

British Airways. Service is old-fashioned butler-type....which you don't find anywhere else now. Stewedersses/stewards know how to be descreet, being British. All their planes have leather seats and generally give you more leg-room. Planes are new (very important!!). Pilots are disciplined...no drunkards like other airliners. Prices are really cheap.
Only problem is they are unlucky...through food strikes, the Ruskie who contaminated 3 planes with radiation, the shoe bomber etc etc. Otherwise a very good airliner.

My favorite airline is Continental. Using the frequent flyer miles to upgrade to BusinessFirst on international flights. I had a great experience as an intern at Continental when I was in college. Also, I like their livery with the blue tail and golden globe.

My all-time favorite airline is, and always will be, Delta Air Lines.
However, Song (by Delta) was my favorite while it was still around.
