It seems to happen a lot with yappy dogs. My sister has three chihuahuas that yap constantly, and they are always getting hoarse and losing their voices. She is usually pretty happy when it happens, because that means less yapping. After a while, they will be fine, and you will hear that wonderful yapping in your house yet again. Good luck.

Try some more batteries or recharge them. Seriously he has probably only got a cold or sore throat, in many ways they are the same as us you know.

Have you seen a vet? There are possibilities that there could be something stuck? Sore throat like us maybe.

Main thing is as long as they are eating and drinking regularly.

MY DAUGHTER HAD A KITTEN LIKE THAT.AND THEN IT COULDNT MEOW AT ALL FOR A WHILE NOW ITS A LITTLE OLDER AND HE MEOWS BUT ITS SUCH A STRANGE SOUND.BUT HES HEALTY.I THINK HIS PROBLEM IS HE MEOW SO MUCH AS A BABY HE DID SOMETHING TO HIS VOCAL CORD.IF THIS REALLY BOTHERS YOU TAKE HIM TO A VET.GOOD LUCK
