are abusing Islam?

Do you think that they are to obsessed with hadith about the prophet(s.a.w)?
For instance that in some Islamic countries a man and woman cant talk to each other in public!

that is saudi women cant drive cars!Isnt those laws absurd,they hav no basis in the Quran!

poki poki: there is no law against a man and woman talking to each other.I understand that there can arise some 'difficulties' in such a situation.But the Quran has nothing against it thus it is not wrong and it is left for us to decide.Not people who think they know what Go had in mind!

i do not think that it is all or even majority but i definitely think there are a number of Islamic leaders that abuse their power. i absolutely despise that iran calls itself the "Islamic Republic." the things that go on there are disgusting and have no basis in Islam. but in all religions, there have been ppl who abuse the faith of their people to suit their own agendas. it is a sad fact of life.

It seems alot of law is based on preislamic custom, and has noting to do with Islam, but with maintaining control.. many of the leaders in todays islamic countries are rather new to their "royalty" and just want to stay in power, so they give as little as they have to to keep that power. The men want women to submit, so they make the law that way.

They are not obsessed. They just have a lot of Love for him and the religion.
We Muslims should love Allaah and the Prophet more than anyone. And make things evolve around in Islaam. e.g 'I can't pray I have to go football training' No it should be, ' I'm praying but I won't be able to attend football training'. You get my point?
Islaam comes first.....

why they can't talk to each other in public as long as they are not being rude and there are talking about general subjects that Islam allowed why not?

a man and woman can talk to each others as long as they are not alone in a closed room.
they can talk in public of course!!!
Saudi Arabia follows it's own law and it is not 100% shariah.

Like many leaders, Christian, Muslim, Political or otherwise, they are abusing their position for personal gain..whether it be power or money, they are definitely abusing their position.
