Because the body (via the liver) can only eliminate so much alcohol at a time. Once the limit is breached mildly toxic substances are released into the bloodstream. Also: since alcohol is a diuretic the body becomes dehydrated. Add to the fact that while the liver is trying to purify the alcohol it cannot process glucose as quickly as the body needs. So, in a nutshell:
you're dehydrated, low blood sugar and are combating toxins - that is why your head hurts and you feel lethargic.
Coffee + aspirin and vitamin B-12 generally works well in combating a hangover.
BTW - smoking while drinking makes a hangover worse because of the nicotine

Your liver uses a lot of water to process the alcohol. The more you drink, the more water your liver will use to get that alcohol out of your system. You have a headache because you are dehydrated. Before you go to bed after a drinking session, drink two pints of water and you will never wake up with a hangover again.

Your head and stomach hurt because it's unhealthy to drink alcohol so young - your body isn't able to deal with it. It's rejecting the alcohol because it's a foreign substance that it doesn't like. That's basically the gist of it.

It is actually because your brain shrinks a little after a long night of drinking. Due to the slightly lessened brain mass, the fluid surrounding your brain is under pressure causing your head to throb and ache. Once your brain reverts to normal size, your headache goes away!

Probably cause you're a light weight. Seriously, different liquor affects all of us differently. I can drink 6 beers and feel fine, but a little bourbon makes me feel like crap.
