when you havent seen a guy for a while and hes says "your looking good" and keeps repeating how good you look, and says, its been ages since i saw you last, is he really interested?
we only meet by chance as we live in 2 different major cities. we have only kissed.

I'd say that to someone if they did look good, whether I was interested or not. But if you've had a past together (even if it was only fleeting) then there's a good chance he's interested.
What he's interested in is another question. He might just be keen on a one night thing, which from what he said is what I'd suspect.
Play it cool, don't give it to him on a plate and if he's interested then he'll still be there in a few weeks.

He's probably interested in hooking-up, since he kept commenting on your appearance. I can't be sure, but my guess is that since he just came out of a relationship recently, I doubt he's looking for anthing more than a casual hook-up.

He fancies you without doubt but how did he find out about your relationship. It could put him of. Because you hae only finished a relationship recently he may think you need some space.

I'd say he was interested, but if he doesnt follow it up by phoning you and arranging meetings, then he's not THAT interested.
