please help with packard bell mp3. audiodream. can't be detected by pc, i need to flash software.?

what others can u make Pc read/detect a connected device? iam frustrated. I tried recovary mode still no luck. the device is still physically ok

flashing should be a 'last resort' scenario.
if the input device is an mp3 player (or=) you probably need to install (reinstall) oem drivers and/or software.
if it's a file device,(hdd,cd-rom,etc) ,check in device manager to see if the device is listed and functioning.if it's software related,you probably only need to associate '*.mp3' files with an installed player (ie; media player). more info for your system
would be much more helpfull, what 'os',what device,player,etc.
