This can cost anywhere from $7.50 a person to $20 per person depending on what type of alchol you have.

I am getting married in January and they are giving me the bar for FREE (at $10 per head that is great)!

It depends. They usually will judge per person, so it would depend on how many people. Also, on the type of drink. And lastly, on how long you want the open bar to run. Some parties have an open bar for the first hour or two, and then afterwards it is a full service paying bar for the remainder of the evening. So take the number of guests, and multipy by roughly $15 per guest and that may be a rough idea. Then again, I would just call some local places where your reception may be and ask for general quotes and ideas. Also keep in mind, even if you know your guests will be tipping the bartenders, it would be customary for you to also include a sizeable tip for whoever is working the bar as well !

depends on the amount of bottles or drink limit - for 50 guests? for 200? also depends on which kinds of licquor you will be using such as top shelf tequilas, or whiskeys vs. regular stuff which is cheaper by the bottle. even though its an open bar you will need to confirm how many you are expecting and how much you think each person will drink on average to make sure its within your budget.
