Excuse me but this question is an affront.By asking this question you are pulling us down to your level(whether you are a male or a female) You do not seem to have any in-depth knowledge of social behaviour.People still lover their spouses and refractions either way are an exception rather than the rule.
Such a mischevous question should in fact not been allowed on Yahoo answers (community guidelines) Please avoid asking such embarassing questions.

I've never been in a situation like that but I highly doubt it will ever happen, my conscience can't handle such betrayal and guilt.
I have a high respect for marriage and I have a very soft heart.

If you are, or have! Then your an adulter, and thats sin. And I think it shows how much of immaturity and cowardness someone has within them, to be willing to cheat on their husband or wife.

Definitely not. That wouldn't make me much of a best friend, now, would it?
