Eat fresh natural wholefoods and do light aerobics for one hour each day 5 days a week

There are many tricks to do that with the diet and work-out, put on one more T-shirt or anything than you normally do, so now, you feel the sweat, right? Your metabolism is slightly higher all day long. Another trick is hot pepper, add to your dish (beware not too many), so now, you feel the sweat as well, right? You further push your metaboliam higher. There are too many tricks to mention here...

^_^ good luck

By "flat stomach" I'm assuming you mean reducing fat in your abdominal region, of course. Besides having an operation, the best way to safely reduce your percentage of body fat is by combining proper nutrition with an exercise program.

Interestingly, fat loss can not be done in any particular region, you lose fat in the opposite order that you gain it. This is governed biologically. So, if you gain fat last in your face, you'll lose it there first upon starting a diet/exercise program.

In terms of sports, however, think performance first and appearance last since, after all, it's your performance that will enable you to help your team and that's what your coach will determine as a basis for your worth to the team's goals.

Since exercise is specific, I'd recommend an exercise program designed for your particular sports with a combination of aerobics, for endurance and weight loss, and resistance training for power, balance, increased metabolic rate (which makes it easier to establish proper body weight) and injury prevention. Note, though, that if you wish to lose weight, you don't want to do so too rapidly, especially in season, as doing so will definately hurt your maximal performance capabilities.

Work your core with high reps, multiple sets, and moderate to low weights. Crunches, twists, sunrise dead-lifts, us a swiss ball to sit on while doing lat pulls, and one the best things to take up is Yoga. I started a year ago and it has dramatically changed my body for the best in flexibility, injury resistance, and shape.
