You can make them a month or two in advance. Just seal them tightly and freeze them. A deep freeze is best and will keep them longer but not essential.

Hi.......I bake hundred's of cookies every Christmas. If ur only making a small amount (as in a batch or 2) then u can do them the day b4 u serve them or give them out. But if ur making more, start now & freeze them in an air tight container. The only exception is that if u r making any cookies that require a filling or icing, do not freeze them like that. Freeze them uniced or unfilled, then take them out of the freezer & complete them b4 u hand them out. If u r making cookies that r decoated with an icing, make sure u give urself time to do that but otherwise other cookies can be taken out the day u r giving them away. GOOD LUCK>>>ZETA!!!

Depends on the type of cookie. Many can go right in the freezer and so they can be made weeks ahead of time. Others, the more delicate cookies, should be made only a few days before Christmas.

Say, what cookies are you making for Christmas?

You could do it now. Just make sure that you have a tight seal container or you freeze it. Most cookies have a shelf life that is at least two weeks just make sure that you store it right

Bake them atleast 1-2 days before xmas. After baking, what matters is that you keep them safely and tight. Don't pack them immediately after baking..it'll ruin the taste a little. but make sure that you DON'T keep them in the freezer because sometimes you forget to take them out and in my opinion frozen cookies taste horrible. And if you find this works..u can perhaps send me some too? lol!
