I'm with Chris Rock on this one, if every bullet cost $5,000, there'd be no more murders. One thing nobody can deny though, if guns had been restricted during the Revolutionary War, we'd still be living under England's rule.

I am a Protestant. I live in the UK, and I personally admire and envy countries like the US and SA which give you the legal right to bear firearms. I do think they should be controlled a bit more (a licensing scheme like that for driving a car is my take on a solution), but banning them altogether like most European countries is pathetic and not useful.

I have had a gun sense I was 18 years old, I have been through hunter safety courses and I believe I have a right to bear arms. Guns are not the problem, a lack of morality is the problem.

Take a look at countries that banned gun ownership. Their crime rates soared.
What do criminals fear the most? It's not the police. They fear that one of their victims may own a gun.
Banning guns will only take the guns out of the law abiding citizens.

I believe gun control means being able to hit your target. All attempts to 'regulate' gun ownership are un-constitutional. There are some who will disagree but i challenge them to read the U.S. Constitution and find where exactly it is up to government to regulate firearms.

I am a born again christian, I think mother teresa said it the best when she was asked; How do we promote world peace. She said, Go home and love your family. We will never solve the gun issue by passing stricter gun laws than what we aiready have. We must enforce the ones we already have.

I seriously dislike the idea of "control" and "government" in relation to anything, but that's my political view.
I do believe in more education, higher cost of ammunition, and more gun ranges where people can practice. The more people learn to respect their weapon and care for it properly, the less likely there will be an accident.
Oh, I'm Christian.

I think that the cost of the concealed carry license is far too high. I think that gun safety education is good. I think that people kill people, guns are just a method. Christian.

I believe there is enough gun control now. I don't see why people need to be licensed for guns, etc. I am Christian.

I'm for treating guns and their users at least as restrictively as we do automobiles: Register all the guns annually; inspect them to determine they are in good, safe working condition; license the owners/users, with regular safety seminars.
Regarding handguns, I am of two minds. I understand some people feel safer with them, but as crime drops, the need for them does also. Personally, I would not oppose the banning of civilian handgun ownership, but I don't hold this belief strongly.
I'm an atheistic Buddhist.
