Here is the thing about bad dreams such as that, it is your body or minds ways of releasing daily stress or your worst fears. YOur dreams bring your fears to life to release the stress. I have had awful dreams but since i have been on a sleeping aide I don remember my dreams anymore which is a first time in a long time. but stay away sleeping aides, they can become real addictive.

Yes, I've had a few scarey dreams like that. One was bad enough that I got up and opened the bedroom door so I would have a little light and could hear other people in the house.

In dreams, the normal rules of logic really don't apply. They tend to be a mishmash of the imagination and things you might have seen or heard. Or even subconcious warnings: Either you know a reckless driver, or someone's kid needs to learn to watch when crossing the road.

A lot of articles I've read about this sort of thing suggest keeping a 'dream diary'- that is, a diary that you can write yoru dreams in. Meanwhile, if you can't go back to sleep, try making a nice soothing cup of tea for yourself, or reading a nice relaxing book. Don't turn on the TV: A lot of the images you describe tend to be used there, especially late at night when supposedly kids are asleep.

Turn your dream into a story. For example:
One day, a boy got hit by a car. Thankfully, the ambulance was across the street helping an old lady. He gets taken to the hospital, has some surgery, and is better in a few months.
Or make humor out of it. Like, the child was a bill collector in disguise, and you were happy it happened.

You might have seen something like this on television...and without knowing it, or paying attention to it, it left a sad memory in your mind...I would make sure that you don't eat anything sweet, or too heavy before going to sleep,..and maybe take a nytol, for the first night or so, so you can break the habit of this dream..I think it was just something that you have seen that you weren't paying attention to, but sunk in...unless you are the little boy, and you feel that someone is out to get you...really search your soul on this one, and pray on it, ...God bless

sometimes dreams can resemble whats going on in our life. I'm not a dream guru and i'm not into all that witchey dreamy stuff but maybe if you've experienced something disturbing lately possible a movie, a close family member, relative or friend struggling thru something or possible dying. Or it could even be a sign of something to come. I heard a story about a man who dreamt his daughter would be killed by a green car and then he was in the same situation a couple of days later and saved her because of it. Hope you sleep tonite!

Dreams usually deal with emotions or fears that your conscience mind can't understand or handle.

Death in a dream is usually some significant change you need or have made to yourself.

I would need to know the whole dream before I can really tell you exactly what it all means though.
