I'm getting highlights put in tonight. Don't want to go really in your face blonde but want it to be noticed. What shades should I ask for or is it OK to take a picture of Tamsin Outhwaite in and ask for that??

Nothing wrong with taking in a picture, my girlfriends a hairdresser and women come in quite often with a picture, at the end of the day you pay alot of money so you want it to look how you want it and not how someone might interpret what you are telling them

Yes definitely take the picture in as the hairdresser will know exactly what you want then. There is nothing worse then describing what you want and them telling you they know what it is you want and then when it's done it's not how you wanted. One thing i would say is don't expect to come out looking like tamsin outhwaite and be disappointed. Your you and i;m sure you'll look great.

Good Luck

Try soft blonde shades, such as toffee or honey - they complement most skin and hair tones and can be as subtle or as dramatic as you like. A pic is a good idea as it gives the hairdresser some idea of what you have in mind. Good luck!

i always take a picture when i get my hair done your hairdresser will always know what will suit you and what wont damage your hair try and stay away from bleach because the roots look awful growing in and your hair will eventually feel like chewing gum when you wash it ,bleach is so hars to grow out.xxx

I would say go for something natural like maybe light blonde that won't make you look like too much

Taking a pic is excellent. it means your hairdresser can see exactly what effect you want & saves trying to explain
