Apples will always discolour to a certain extent due to the process of oxidization. To minimise this from happening, you can put the apple slices in lemon juice or even orange juice. Water can be put with them as well. Just make sure there is a higher lemon juice to water ration maybe 4:1

That is 4 parts lemon juice to one part water).

Put them in a sealable bag with some lemon juice & shake them so they are coated.

For larger amounts, put in water that has lemon juice in it.

dip them in lemon juice, or sprinkle fresh fruit product on them...you can use it for all fruits that tend to discolor after slicing them...avacados too. it's ascorbic acid aka vitamin c...so in a pinch, you can crush vitamin c tablets to a powder and use them too.
