So you want the world to be filled with hate, and ever form of evil??? Anyone can see it is you that has a problem. You say ALL Christians, do you know ALL Christians? I would like to know what you do to help make the world a better place? How many people have you helped?
I don't push my beliefs on anyone. My actions speak louder than words. I send food, medical supplies, school supplies, clothing, and whatever I can to poor, starving people around the world. I am not alone, there are many Christians that do even more. Just what good do you do??? It is people like you that only think about yourself, that turn me off, but I don't hate you, I don't hate period!!! I also don't do the things that I do for a reward, It makes me feel good inside to help others, you should try it sometime. To bad everyone in the world can't see your remarks, you would be standing with a very small group.
It is true there are people that hurt the Christian name, every religion has it's share. But for you to say ALL is wrong. Did I say I will pray for you? Did I push Bible verses down your throat?
I have been reading your post, and can see why you attack Christians. Everyone of your post are filled with quotes from the quran. Where is your LOVE??? Is your God a God of HATE??? Should your heart be filled with hate??? How do you know if a Christian you hate, will not become a muslim??? I could never embrace a religion so full of hate!!!

Well now, why not tell us how you REALLY feel? Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? I am a christian and I would think that someone who does good would be a blessing in this world of chaos and ignorance. I neither hate nor condemn anyone who does not ascribe to what I believe in as I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Including you, even though you seem to be so insulting. Perhaps you could tone it down a notch or two for those of us who are not acting within the tight little circle you have drawn for ALL christians. Generalization does not become you. And hey, if you do not want anyone to pray for you then you do not have to sit and listen but I pray for all of humanity. That includes the muslim, Jew, Catholic, black, white, homosexual, murderer, murder victim, etc. We are all human first and whatever faith second. I do not judge you because it is not my place to, I simply want to see everyone be able to find common ground and cultivate tolerance for all. Perhaps you can join me in that train of thought whether you pray for it or not. Hope today gets better for you.

Whoa, hang on a second! I am a Christian and I do believe in God, but I do see where your coming from. Not all of us fit this stereotype as to go "overboard" in preaching that those who don't believe in God will go to hell and such. Quite frankly I am embarrassed that some who consider themselves Christians to behave this way. I respect other's opinions, just as I wish mine to be respected. I enjoy learning about other's religions because that makes us all unique.
I feel that those who go overboard in trying to "convert" or "preach" that thier belief is divine while disrespecting others isn't right, and that goes for both sides. I don't feel the need to go around quoting scriptures to showcase my beliefs, however I tend to feel that how I live my life is an example of my own convictions.

I tried reading all the threads but I just couldn't stomach them all. It's either hatred or sickly-sweet "I'll pray for you"/"Read your Bible"/"Open your heart to Jesus". For the sickly-sweet folks out there, your sentiments are nice, but I think your approach is all wrong. Do you have any idea how many times these folks have heard these same tired lines?? It's annoying and obnoxious to anyone! And I'm a Christian!!
First off, I'll say that I guess I can't fault you for your opinion of Christians. I gave Lucifer a thumbs-up for his answer in fact...except for the "down with Christians" part. It's so true: we are our own worst enemy! Push push push, shove shove shove. I don't know when people are going to GET it! You can't force someone to love, respect or believe something just because you said so. They need a good solid reason to change their entire way of living. As an example, my reason for being a Christian (to sum it up in one sentence) is because believing in Jesus infuses this life of mine with hope and meaning. And if y'all are right and we all just turn to dust after we're dead, then it's nothing to me if I am wrong...right? But if I'm right, then I've live a worthwhile and fulfilling life PLUS I get the benefit of eternal life. Not a bad deal, eh? Kinda win-win. It's a genuinely free gift that God is handing out. He tells you there's no catch, but you dn't believe Him. That's your loss.
I realize my limitations when it comes to influencing others. All I can do is be an example and a source of help and information. The rest is up to the other person. It's beyond me. None of my business in fact. A person's relationship with God is highly personal, and it's not my place to sort out their business for them. If I see them doing something that, in my view, is wrong or harmful to them or to others, then I will express that...but only out of concern for those involved. I truly wish only to help makes others' lives better. We've all overstepped our bounds now and then, but I do my best not to.
Anyway, my business with God is pretty much sorted out, and what you do with yours has really nothing to do with me. I just hope that you find what you're looking for. I can't imagine living an entire life without God. If you can, then I guess I wish you well.
You don't wanna hear it but here it comes ;) .....
God Bless and Merry Christmas. Really.

Well, I don't consider those types "do-gooders". They're arrogant, to say the least, but hardly a do-gooder. I don't believe they are doing that "I'll pray for you" to actually be praying for your welfare. I believe they do it to earn brownie points, either with their God or with others like them.
I wouldn't waste my energy on hating people like that. Just remember what goes around, comes around. If they act arrogant, sooner or later they will run into a bigger asshole than they are. *wink* There's too much other stuff in the world to waste time on hating any group of people, especially just based on what they call themselves. Generalizations like that just don't fit in the real world.

Wow you're angry! A couple I know who are Christians are lovely people; they are genuine and would help anyone who needed their help. Twenty years ago they took in a tramp who had been homeless for 5 years and nursed him back to health, fed and clothed him (and never took any money off him for his keep). He stayed in their home for a further 5 years and through their help went on to lead a productive life. When they met him he was on a park bench and he felt the same way about Christians as you do now.
I really hope this helps you. Feel free to e.mail me if you wish.

The Bible teaches about loving people...so why are you saying Christians hate people who aren't believers? Guys, have u ever stopped to realise... just for a millisecond, a few minutes, even a moment...that...what IF, what IF God is real? What are you going to do when you die? I know I know I know, blah blah blah "heavens not real" as you put it. But WHAT IF it is real?
When u have God on your side, you really cannot explain the happy road life becomes. Its amazing. And thats why we do good things. Cos we're in love with God. Why did Jesus die for all of us? Even the person that wrote the question saying she hates Christians and all the people who responded positively? Because He's in love with us. JUST FOR A MOMENT, Consider what if Jesus is real. What if all the bible says is real? How much would u be missing out on?

I've met some Christian *** h0/es. And I believe some Christians have met some Atheist *** h0/es. But I've also met some Christians who are really nice and doesn't preach to you at all and honestly respect your beliefs. And I really respect them as well. The *** h0/es are the ones who deserves to be hated. So don't generalize.

I have no problem with people who do good, whether they are Christians or not. Where I have a problem is with fundamentalists, whether they are Christian, Muslim or Atheist. The world would be a better place if you and your fellow nutters would acquire some knowledge of the subject and stop talking out of your fundaments.
