would a 100,000 + volt stun gun fry the onboard engine management microprocessors when triggered to a vehicles' ground,i.e.:frame,body panels,door handles,etc. ???

My guess would be only the items in close proximity. The current (amerage) produced by a standard stun gun is too low for it to travel through resistance. If you were to hit the computer or other electronic part with it - probably ya!

A TASER however would pobably do a better job. It has a lower voltage, but the current is much higher.

No, because your not "completing" a circuit to any of the on-board electronics in the vehicle when the stun gun is discharged to the chassis. There is no "connection" to the positive side of the vehicle.

If the stun guns two electrodes are discharged in the vicinity of any switch or control with any opposing potential (+ and -), then yes, damage will most likely occur.

great question. i dont think it would fry the entire car, but i doubt there would be a single fuse that doesnt blow in the car. but then again, what happens to a car when its hit by lightning?
