after having my first son, i was determined to drop the weight. i did, and then continued. i am now at what i consider to be the perfect size for my height (6, i'm 5'8'') but i don't know how to stop losing weight.

i've never eaten fatty foods and am a vegetarian. i have already begun to lighten my workouts but have lost three more pounds since doing this.

**how do i ease myself out of diet mode and still remain healthy? also, what is a good diet to maintain a weight?

peace and blessings to all,
Sakina

Well Sakina, Peace and Blessings to your house also and, thank you: I would see good nutritionist at a health food store. My sister is a vegetarian and wants to be savant but doesn't get to a health food store often enough to pick up all the proteins you need for good health. It's O.K. to skip meats but, you still need the proteins from somewhere, you can pick them up and sprinkle them on the foods you eat, and control your diet that way.

This is one way. I suppose another is to exercise all the time, walking, etc but, you still have to have the proteins your spending through all this. So, back to the health food store. I think would go there, to a good one and talk to them.

I think you need to check the calories you need to be eating normally to just maintain your weight and not cut down on your food intake. You don't have to opt for fatty foods. Just try googling a calorie counter in the internet it'll tell you the amount to keep or lose pounds.

You're obviously interested in being a healthy person, so my advice would be to consult a naturopath. Mine is also a great listener, gives me excellent advice on life and love. He's just really an all-round healer. Find one like that and you've got it made :)
