None!
They're all usless. No antivirus product will protect you so long as you use Windows! An antivirus software can only tell you if you have a virus if it knows about it, and well they are way behind all the hackers out there! Theres no way they can protect you! Your better of using one alongs side a HIPS (Host-Based Intrusion Prevention System) - a kind of software which protects a computer it is installed on against malware (Trojans, Spyware, Worms, Viruses, Backdoors etc) and hackers attacks. It will alert you to any unauthorised/unknown programs when they try to run on your PC.

You can check out the following they are the three most popular HIPS programs:

System Safety Monitor: http://www.syssafety.com/
Online Armour: http://www.tallemu.com/Online-Armor.php

if you are a internet user than you should use norton internet security 2007 from www.filehippo.com or if you are a computer uer than you should use mcafee 10 which you can download from this site.they are trial but don't worry i'll tell you the method to use
a trial as long as you want.
first change your computer's date to (eg.7-12-2006 to 7-12-2009) whatever time you want. and then install the trial. after the installation your trial will work like a full version software.

Norton Antivirus has always slowed down my PC and is bulky and heavy on CPU usage. I also find its database laughable compared to what I'm about to suggest, as it never seems to find anything.

Therefore I suggest AVG free, which can be downloaded from http://free.grisoft.com

I find Norton Internet Security with its multiple functions wonderful. Others claim it slows their computer. In 10 years this has not been my experience.

www.free.grisoft.com
Anti-virus and anti-spyware

www.zonelabs.com
Zone Alarm Firewall

these three programs will protect you as much as any of the others
and as for having used Norton for 10 years ... if you've used nothing else ... how do you know it doesn't slow your computer down????

norton is a great pick, avoid the avg or avast that get hyped alot here, you will also see many that ask how to get rid of things avg or avast cant get of also.
odd how great programs cant detect or remove things.
go with norton, mcafee, or bitdefender
