if so, do you like it with chocolate? how else would you eat it?
also, is it better with dark, milk or white chocolate?

GREAT Stuff! I personally like it with vinilla bean ice cream with melted milk chocolate, wait a little bit and the chocolate crusts. Truly good stuff

love it,traditionally rolled out into a layer that goes on top & around the sides of rich fruit cakes,like wedding,christening cakes etc.We serve marzipan fruit shapes,made by hand or in rubber moulds ,during the christmas season,these are mixed in small quantities with different food colours & essences to give an authentic touch to the fruit shapes ,when a brown colour is needed we mix it with chocolate powder or cocoa.

I love it. It's like nothing of this world. The absolute best is with almond paste. it's rectangular, one layer marzipan and a double layer almond from both sides of it.
I don't like it with dark chocolate. I don't like it with nougat or with coconut. This is older than chocolate so it has to go with something that is also older, like almond paste :-) Try it.
I also don't like when they put pistachios on top. I like to taste the real flavor by eating it with something that doesn't overwhealm its saveur.

I have to be honest and say I've never tried it. But I went to Martha Stewart's web site and saw a recipe for it and it sounds delicious and easy to make. If I were going to try it with chocolate, I'd try it with white chocolate.

I love it! I prefer it on it's own...usually at Christmas my grandma makes marzipan figures on top of our cake and I just eat them all before anyone else :)

Marzipan is so rich you can only eat a small amount of it and then it starts to be a turnoff.

No i hate it, and am currently living in germany where all traditional christmas treats seem to have marzipan!!

Yes I do like it, although I do not like it with chocolate. I usually have it on top of a "Fraisier" and other french cakes. Yummy!!!

yes... with dark chocolate of course... try it with the 86% cocoa one
