I dont think so - I live near London and there isnt anything fun about being here. Depends on how old you are and if you are visiting as a tourist - if you're young and only staying a couple of weeks then I imagine it would be fun xxx

it depends on the place you go, but I am from Málaga (Spain) and most of the foreigner population are from the UK, that must mean something, uh? I was in England and it was fun but I must say that I find people there quite gloomy and bad-tempered sometimes. Maybe the weather? Just go and check it out for yourself. London is great but get ready to spend lots and lots of money!

It can be fun, it depends on what you make of it. If you just sit on your rear all the time, then of course it's not going to be fun.

We live in rip off Britain. prices of most things are extortionate. Many people can't afford to get on the property ladder, petrol prices rise and rise, we get ripped of by the Government with speeding fines that are designed as revenue earners rather than safety measures, we get ripped off with excessive and unfair tobacco tax, the Government allow thugs and thieves to start up as car clampers and they often steal peoples cars whether they are parked correctly or not and hold the cars to ransom for excessive and unfair amounts of money, the CSA steal peoples money irrespective of whether they owe it or not, we can't have Christmas decorations in many of our places of work now because of the politically correct morons and the gutless managers who are more concerned with covering their miserable backs than with making morally correct and intelligent managerial decisions. The list is endless.
Our Government do not give a dam about the people they represent and steal from us at every opportunity. It's a real bundle of fun in the UK.

No, it's dead boring, and, despite what acoustic may say or think it don't get any better the older you get (altho' I'm not yet over 65)
Actually, it's like anywhere - it's what you make of the opportunities that present themselves, and it is quite impossible to generalise.
