Sure Dude ... she's falling for the sensative you ... the other guy may well be a muscular jock ... but this girl admires a more sensative guy ... the jocks burn out .... but a sensative heart will nurture and nourish forever ... make her see this and she'll come over to the sensative side :)
Good Luck

OK dude. This is what she really means:
"I am touched by the stuff you write, and am intellectually attracted to them, but the sexual chemistry isn't there between us, it is with this other guy I am beginning a relationship with"!
The "failing in love" thing is a three stage process. Lust or sexual attraction, romantic love, and then for a long-term relationship, also compassionate love. They need to happen in this order or they won't last long.
Lust without romance turns into a one night stand. Romance without compassion dies within the first 12 to 18 months of partnership or else turns into a dry, indifferent relationship.
Women, for some reason and generally speaking, are not at all clear about these various stages. They often have, so called "bad boys" (you know, the classic archetypal male, James Bond style) in sight for possible romance and, so called "nice guys" for possible friendship. They have a sexual relationship with the former while enjoying intellectually stimulating conversations with the latter.
It is an on going feminine dilemma they need to sort out, just like many guys who need to get a grip with the concept of monogamy and commitment.
I would say, if someone is not sexually attracted to you, then amicably and respectfully say good-bye. The falling for your poetry and brain bit needs to arrive much later.
Regards!

Yes. Do you two really have anything else to base a relationship on besides the writings? If you took away the poetry...whats left? That's what you should ask yourself. I'm sure you will come up with the answer. It may not be the one you want but you sound like a smart guy. I think the answer is already clear to you.

Yes, she could be falling in love with just your writing just like if you found a author you really liked and started reading all the books from him or her, be carefully your bond to get hurt here. if you really like this girl witch it sounds like you do, then start talking less about poetry and more about other things see how it goes from their. Take a chance, go for it. Good Luck

If she is then it means she is attracted to ur writing and not u. In other words...she loves the way ur writing makes her feel.
The question u should be asking urself is does she like u for being u...regardless of writing skills?

She is just playing with your emotions and that is wrong. I would leave it with her as friends if you so wish, but she sounds manipulative, so any future romances that may occur could end badly. try not to get too involved and hurt - Good luck :-)
