****Do you truly believe that Muslims worship a different God than you?
*the God of Islam created the universe and heaven and hell.... did your God not created the universe, heaven and hell?
[2:21] O people, worship only your Lord - the One who created you and those before you - that you may be saved.
[2:22] The One who made the earth habitable for you, and the sky a structure. He sends down from the sky water, to produce all kinds of fruits for your sustenance. You shall not set up idols to rival GOD, now that you know.
*the God of Islam created adam(as) and eve(as) as the first people on earth...as well as all the Prophets(as).... did the God of the Judeo-Christian tradition not create adam(as) and eve(as) and the Prophets(as)?
[3:59] The example of Jesus, as far as GOD is concerned, is the same as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, "Be," and he was.

Another verse on creation:
[2:29] It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.
**the God of Islam told Adam(as) and Eve(as) that they were restricted from a certain tree in the Garden of Eden….. did the God of the Jews and the Christians not do this as well
[2:35] We said, "O Adam, live with your wife in Paradise, and eat therefrom generously, as you please, but do not approach this tree, lest you sin."

The God of the Muslims says that one must pray to him for forgiveness and that salvation can only be achieved through Him…. Does not the God of the Jews and the Christians say this as well?
2:286] On no soul doth God Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."
[2:107] Knowest thou not that to God belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth? And besides Him ye have neither patron nor helper.

***if your answer was “no” to any of these questions then maybe we do not believe in the same God….. if your answer was “yes” to all is it not possible that there is only One True God that we all worship
also... this is what the Quran says about Christians and Jews...
[2:62] Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Michele, Muslims have been condemning terrorism for years but that is not what is publicized. here are some links and i have heard it condemned many times within my own mosque. the man who was chosen to represent Islam (Imam Hamza Yusuf) after the 9/11 attacks openly condemned when speaking with President Bush but his words were never quoted

"Do you truly believe that Muslims worship a different God than you?"
See, the only problem with this question is that it already implies that Christianity and Judaism teach this, and you're just seeking confirmation.
The truth is that Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all worship the same G-d (and I'm saying this as an Orthodox Jew). The Christians introduced the quasi-pagan concept of Trinitarianism, which is really a compromise with that old-timey idolatry. Christianity is rife with such compromises...
Christmas was moved to December 25th (historical and scriptural evidence strongly suggests that Jesus was born in the Spring or Summer months) to cover up Winter Soltice, which for Pagans was a holiday complete with feasting and gift-giving. The early Christians would join in the festivities, which of course was a problem for the Church. Their response? Change it from a celebration of the "sun" to a celebration of the "son". Problem solved. In a similar vein, Easter is actually named for a an ancient pagan fertility goddess (Oestre, I think), who according to myth was followed by a hare, the symbol of fertility (hence the Easter Bunny, and all those eggs). If you don't believe me, why do you think there's a campaign amongst many Protestant Christians today to get the name of the holiday changed to Resurrection Day, or something more Jesus-y?
There are those that say that Muslims are in fact worshipping a moon idol (Al-Lat), not so much amongst Jews as amongst the Christian missionary community, some of whom have a bone to pick with Islam (or who simply wish to disprove it to attract converts, which has never been a primary focus in Judaism). Most Jews aren't really familiar with this controversy, and they don't care. If anything, they know that in practice Muslims worship G-d (the only G-d), and that the name assigned to him in Arabic is "Allah". Jews don't really have any beef with Islamic theology, as Islam is in fact the closest religion to Judaism (far closer in most ways than Christianity). Rather they tend to be angry at people who blow up busses, kidnap and murder people, hijack planes, etc., claiming to act in the name of Islam. Any educated person can make the distinction between a violent extremist spurred on by a perverse distortion of religion, and a truly spiritual person (be they Muslim, Christian, or Jew) who seeks peace with their fellow human beings.
So in conclusion, Christians may or may not realize that all three Abrahamic religions worship the same G-d, but they're hardly in a position to point fingers what with the whole crazy triune godhead. Most Jews (at least the ones that I know) realize that they do, and even amongst the most traditional of orthodox Jews, Islam is considered the least halakhically-problematic non-Jewish religion (that is to say, it has all the ingredients to make a decent human being if it's not abused for ungodly ends - it has a strict, uncompromising monotheism, and a basic set of ethics).
This is not to say that Judaism doesn't take issue with Islam. Certain things we will never agree on (and I guess the Mashiach or Al-Mehdi will sort things out - whichever one shows up -- and for the record I'm aware that there's a concept of "masiyah" in Islam, but the original messianic role has been delegated to the one Muslims call Mehdi, the masiyah's job basically lines up with a special role Judaism gives to Eliyahu the Prophet; but I digress). But nobody here is saying that you worship a different G-d. And there's more than enough common ground to build a working friendship, if only more people were willing to try.
I hope this helps clear things up.
For more on what Judaism prescribes for non-Jews, look up the Noachide Commandments. Jews believe that G-d forged a covenant with Noach (as opposed to the more specific one with Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov [that is, Ibrahim, Ishak and Yaqub]), and that any non-Jew who keeps the covenant by following the Seven Noachide Commandments (Jews are held to a more exacting standard, including 613 commandments in the Written Torah alone) is doing what is right in G-d's eyes. Most poskim (Jewish legal authorities) hold Islam to be a valid Noachide religion.

Definit;y a diffirent god. If you go and study the Babelonian way of worship you will find that Roman Catholism and Islam is very close to it. Mohammed's wife was a high ranking Roman Catholic, not a 9 year old girl. She taught Mohammed everything there is to know about Babelonian worship. So Islam worship a sungod, or actualy 3 of them, Christians worship God the creator, Jehovah (Psalms 83:18).

I beleive in one G-d. So there is no other god to be worshiped besides G-d. However my view of G-d is radiclly different then the Christian view to the point where I beleive they are in effect idol worshipers. As for Muslims, the faith is more akin to mine then Christianity and we do share many similiarities. However the differences are significant enough to give me serious pause.

Sorry. Muslims worship a different God.
The great Jehovah have made a word to Joshua, that he will be known as the God of your Fathers, The God of Abraham, ISSAC and Jacob (Israel). for generations after generations.
The salvation done through Jesus Christ was prophesied from the time of Mosses onwards so many times. The birth of Jesus Christ was never to get away from the passions and death, but to defeat the power of death by tasting the death and by resurrecting from the dead.
But your god says all against to the will of the Most High God.
In the 2nd epistle of Corinthians it is clearly mentioned about your God.
Ch 11: 13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
The epistle to Galatians says,
Ch 1 : 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
John 16
1These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
4But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
These are few things concerning your God and prophet.

i'm mormon, too, then! I firmly trust interior the doctrine of the trinity, that i have by no skill grow to be a member of the Jewish united states by having my blood made Semitic upon transforming into a member of the LDS at 8 years previous. That G-d became by no skill a guy who lived on Kolob, has no spouse---and has no want of one because he's finished in and of Himself. That Jesus Christ's atonement---on the bypass particularly of interior the backyard--is sufficient for all sins whatever they're, and that He on my own saves thoroughly and completely with out question. no longer works of any sort that i visit "carry out" to bypass my self in route of one equivalent aspect of heaven the position all believers will finally finally end up. Yeah, that makes me Christian "mormon" then. precise? what's nice for the goose and all that..... convinced, to respond to your question. In Christ Jesus there is got here upon finished and lasting peace. some day. quickly. I am a Jew, and I believe that Muslims worship the same one all-powerful, unrepresentable God that we do. The Christians do not worship this God. They worship a trinity, one portion of which takes human form.

Dark Side of Islam is Ben Laden
Good Side of Islam is people like Malek Chebel
Dark Side of Christianity are pedophile priests
Good Side of Christianity is Mother Teresa
Dark Side of Judaism is Rabbi Yousef Falay
Good Side of Judaism is Rabbi Ovadia Yosef
