Get off the computer and out of your house. Go to the local cafes and shops. Get out and meet some people. It's not difficult, just introduce yourself. Jordan is a wonderful place with many things to do. As far as Jordanians, they are friendly welcoming people who you should have no problem making new friends with.

Volunteer wherever people need help. And, there are places in Jordan that need you. As you help people, you will help yourself.
Have you asked at your Mosque about families that will share time and companionship with you? I have found Arabs very friendly-----surely they would be so to their own, too.

if you post this on the Jordan category,
you might actually find a friend there...
otherwise, cross over to the Israeli side,
people are really friendly there...
