I'm 23 and at work at the moment.
Don't think it would be an allergy... not allergic to anything (that I know of) and haven't ate anything out of the norm for me(?)

Sudden swelling of the lip could be part of a severe allergic reaction. It would be best to be seen in the ER ir an urgent care center ASAP.
It could be infection, but anything this severe and sudden needs urgent care.

Sounds like you've had an allergy reaction to something. If you didn't get hit by something, allergy is what it is. Try to remember if you've eaten anything different in the last few days. If your still at home, show your parents and suggest allergy testing. If your an adult, try taking some benadryl allergy medication and see if the swelling goes down.

Sounds to me like an allergy, you can become allergic to something at the drop of a hat, I have suddenly become allergic to nuts, and wheat, what a bummer.

I've had a similar experience. My GP thought it was probably angioedema - symptoms include unexplained swelling of soft tissue areas around mouth and eyes. I was prescribed Clarityn - hayfever tablets.

IT LOOKS LIKE AN ANT/INSECT BITE CAUSING A SECONDRY ALLERGIC REACTION.ANY ANTIHISTAMINE TABLET TWICE A DAY WILL HELP , BUT MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS AS A SIDE EFFECT.SO BE CAREFULL WHILE DRIVING CAR OR MACHINARY.............AN INTERESTING POINT IS THAT,EVEN IF YOU DONOT TREAT IT, IT WILL SUBSIDE IN A DAY OR TWO. GOOD LUCK

GO TO THE HOSPITAL ASAP!!!!
If it turns out to be nothing they wont mind as this can be the first signs of a serious allergy problem.
WHAT YOU WAITING FOR?
GO!
