As long as there are PEOPLE involved, there will ALWAYS be corruption and other problems. It is, unfortunately, human nature:take soething good and twist it to other purposes.

technology and corruption are not related. Technology is scientific progress. Corruption is human greed.

The short answer - both. Better tracking of information can lead to less corruption, but it increases the risk of fraud.

there is no correlation between technology and societal problems. governments were just as corrupt long ago as they are today.

technology is only as good as the way in which people use it - it can be used for good or evil, but since humans are inherently evil, it takes much effort to apply it toward good deeds
