No, why would you think you would get any quotes? What you will get is a bill for the damage you caused, you will need to make some arrangements to pay that. Also it is not legal to drive without insurance, so I'm assuming you got a ticket for that also that will need to be taken care of. I'd suggest you start looking for a job, you have some obligations in front of you.

You are supposed to get at least 2 quotes (because usually they go with the cheaper quote), but if the person has already had the car fixed, then you are SOL and stuck with the bill for the repair. I'm sure if its been repaired already, its been quite awhile since the accident. Usually if they go through insurance it takes awhile to get some money from them. The insurance company probably reimbursed them and now expects you to reimburse them. Call them and set up a payment plan to pay it off. You can tell them what you can afford. The owner of the car is just as liable as you are.

There is no excuse for driving an uninsured vehicle. You and the owner of the vehicle are jointly liable for any damage caused.

In your situation, you are not entitled to get several quotes. Your only option is to pay up and make the problem go away. If you fail to do so quickly, both you and the vehicle's owner are very likely to have your license revoked until the damages are paid.

You're not even entitled to proof that the repairs are even being made. The vehicle owner is not obligated to have repairs made unless the vehicle is financed. That's between the other vehicle's owner and his finance company; it's not a matter of your concern.

Unfortunately it doesn't matter what your financial circumstances are. You are liable and MUST pay up quickly to keep your license and avoid further legal problems.

The insurance company will fix the other car. Then they are going to sue you. It would have been a lot cheaper if you just had insurance to begin with.

you should at least have had 3rd party have you checked with your friend as it is illegal not to have insurance for damaged caused to another vehicle.
