I've known this guy for 3 years We regard one another as brother and sister on an outing yesterday, he was acting very weird. When i met him and we were waiting for a friend who was late, he gave me a christmas present. (Note that he didn't give the other friend who's male). Then he invited me to his house on New Year's, saying his mum wanted to see me. He didn't invite the other friend. Then while we were walking to the cinema he pointed to me and told the other friend " I like girls like her".
when we were having lunch i wanted to eat Clam Chowder but was lazy to get it myself and he volunteered to get it for me. So of course i agreed, but he rushed thru and fro twice to ask me what size i wanted and whether i wanted pepper. While watching the movie Happy Feet, i called him a penguin and he said " Then you're a penguin too, since you're a penguin's sis".
What are the chances he likes me, and why?
When he said i'm a penguin's sis, could it be because he couldn't say gf and such ?

AAAahhh Bless! It sounds to me that he does fancy you, but he is scared that it would ruin your friendship if he told you. So he is enjoying your company which way he can ....how cute!!!
Next time you are together, ask him what he likes in women/girls? When he asks what you see in the boys/men, say "What I look for, is someone I can talk too about everything, someone that makes me laugh, someone that has the same interests as me & that will also be my bestfriend, who buys me lovely gifts, someone that cares about my feelings and he has to be extra good looking .... oh my god, I just describe you???" then laugh. ....Wait for his reaction .... you'll know!!!
or next time you go to the cinema, hold his hand while his watching the film & then kiss him on the cheek and keep looking at him for a few secs, if he smiles & kisses you back, you'll know!

He's definitely into you as sister love because he clearly mentioned that ur also penguin's sis but the point is tht y is he overdoing it ??? Maybe he needs some help from u .
Wot u do is try to keep him away for some days and see how his reaction would be and try to ignore him thn maybe he would reveal his actual intentions out of desperation

Things like this are a bit hard to answer with no knowledge of either you or him besides what you have written. You'd probably be best of just asking him, the worst that will happen is it will be a bit wierd for a while. But atleast he will know... Carpe deum, seize the day!

I think he's a kind person and he's happy with the current relation with you which is brother and sisters relation.He might like girls like you but he definitely doesn't want you to be his gf ,because he likes you alot as a sister and its a different feeling .

i think he appreciates you but is not in love with u, might be there are some good qualities in u which he admires, so my advise is dont come to the conclusion that he is in love with u as then later it will be hard for both of u to continue ur brother sister relation ship as well. so let it go by time if he confesses than u agree to it .

the best option is to let the things move as these are moving now but make sure u response for all his actions very positively in my opinion still at this stage he likes you but yet to love you but thats more mature way to get in love i tell you

If you're still happy with the brother-sister situation, stick with it, because from what I can tell, that's all he feels.
