you have so many ways people pollute the coast line.
there is the obvious, the trash, plastics, floating objects, and so on.
another is metal leaking. When you streets that directly go straight to the ocean, you will have a change in pH levels in the water thanks to the car brakes. when it rains the heavy metals enter the ocean and makes the ocean more base and causes eye irritation to the fish. a good example of this is when you find fishes with burned faces... literally... it's not skeleton exposure but it's a red color due to too much irritation.

Most people that pollute the coast line, aren't even aware their doing it! Pollutants travel to the shore from miles away, and are caused by things we do every day.Just driving to the market can pollute the shore line. You do drive, don't you?Greases caused from oil and gas, accumulate on the roadways, rushing down the storm drains with the very first rains. Other things collect and contribute to that ,"storm drain" pollution. Paint, thinners, solvents, cleaning chemicals, pool chemicals, cigarette butts, dog ****, are just some of these.People need to really be more aware of the environment. And that means other country's as well. They need to pay attention to what goes into the trash, what goes down the drain ,even what their burning in their fire places, not to mention what is being flushed down the to lite.It all ends up in one place, the sea. Start more recycling, Have the city start an incentive program, what ever. Put more classes in the schools that teach environmental science, and recycling. Teach, and educate are the answers for the future of the earth. It is not indestructible!
