Jeme,
Do you ever feel sort of anxious or nervous when you're in those types of settings? If so, the symptoms you're describing sort of sound like those commonly found in panic attacks. Many times strong feelings of anxiety or intense feelings of nervousness around a lot of people or in new situations can cause physical manifestations such as those you've described. Some people will even break out in a cold sweat, get a stomach ache or feel like they have to have diarrhea or even have palpitations (feel like their heart is pounding or beating really hard). I am not sure if you're uncomfy being around a lot of people for some reason, or if it is eating around others like that. It might just be something to think about. If this could be a possibility, you might want to discuss it with your doctor. Sometimes discussing your feelings can help, sometimes they can give you helpful suggestions, have you discuss this with a counselor, or even give you medicaiton if necessary.

It sounds like a panic attack. The good news is you can get over it! First off, you likely should get some help, talk with your doctor. If you don't want to go this route, ask yourself what it is that is making you so uncomfortable sometimes if you can recognize it you can rationalize it and then make it go away. Next, have you tried some relaxing exercises? meditation is good, you don't need to get overly complicated with this, a few deep breathes that will let you calm yourself. When you feel the nerves coming on take a few of these deep brethes. It will give you something to anchor on and it helps tremendously. It will take some practice so give it time, also try different methods of relaxing, some will work better than others. Best of luck.

You are having panic attacks. It is common for people to get them in the situations you described.
If you look up "panic attacks" or "anxiety attacks" on line, you can find info on how to get better.
For me, I needed a certain SSRI for a couple of years to get rid of the syndrome. Other people have success with non-medical treatments.
Lots of people have anxiety disorders/problems. You are not alone, and you will eventually be fine.

This sounds very much like a panic attack. Your best bet, of course, is to see a doctor and make sure you don't have an undiagnosed illness. There are effective treatments for panic disorders as well.
