Hahaha!!!
Who said we r not free???
When will u ignorant people realize that
MUSLIM WOMEN WANT TO WEAR HIJAB.
We don't want to wander about in streets showing off our belly & clevage & thighs & back & high light our buts like sluts....
Coz Sluts wear those small peices of clothes so that they can raise their cost of one night....
We r free to the extreme extent.
It is just u people can't see how much we enjoy freedom..
U people can only think that dressing like sluts is freedom...
Even a small litle girl is taught to beacome a slut in ur countries...
By dressing them in Mini skirts & shorts & small shirts which show their belly & back & legs....
this is pathetic thinking of u people....
& Yes we r free here but not in ur countries....
if a girl want herself to look like a slut, she can ,
But if a Muslim girl wants to dress up sophisticatedly or wants to wear full clothes or hijab she losses job.
She is rejected elsewhere.
She is treated badly....
Why is that?
Are we not free in our place or urs???
If a nun weard scarf, she is respected ,
but if a muslim woman wears scarf, she is ordered to put it off...
Why?????
Similarly my muslim brothers when wear prayer cap& grow beard, they r discriminated.
Others say.. BE WARE OF HIM >>> HE IS A MUSLIM>> MAY BE HE HAS GOT A BOMB>>>
But if a Jew does the same, he is respected & said to be leading a pious life in way of GOD...
What r we doing then??
We are also leading our life according to what or GOD said.
Why such Discrimination????
Being Monothiests, we & christians & jews should unite but u people discriminate...
So who is RACIST????
U or us Muslims???
U people take Black people as slaves....
Why ???
Why such discrimination???
Why????
& by the way, the people in America & europe & else where say we here in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh Indonesia, Nigeria etc, are poor people...
Infact u r poor people who can't even afford full body covering clothes.
huh!
poor people....
I am proud to be a Muslim.

I am free everyday.
Free to dress the way I want. Just because I do not want you to look at me like a piece of meat does nor mean that I am not dressing the way that I want.
I am free to do as I wish at all times. I am an educated woman, employed, and a member of my community. Yes I choose to dress modestly but that is so that the world will look at me for me and not what I can show off.

I think what you mean is Muslim women in Arab countries and surroundings.. Do your homework, and soon you realized, that most Arabs are Muslims but MOST Muslims are not Arabs..
Check Indonesia for example, the most Muslim populated country in the world.. I think most of women are 'free' and 'can where what they want' there.. (sorry about the caption, because I'm not sure your definition of free and dress are)
Sorry if I'm too generalizing Arabs.. I'm just trying to be short

When you stop thinking they are so oppressed. I live in a Muslim country and women here ARE free, and many dress like western women. SOME Muslim countries are oppressive, but that it their CULTURE, not their religion. Learn the difference.

they're just as free as any other religion. you're generalising about a very small minority. they're as free as they want to be, they have their beliefs just like everyone else. they feel free in the things they do, they may look at our beliefs and think we are not free too. just leave this muslim stuff out now. it's getting old

Who on Gods green earth told you we weren't free? And what does the way we *choose* to dress have to do with freedom?
Last time I checked, freedom entails making your own decisions, and I choose to dress in non-form fitting clothing and to cover my hair - and I choose to go against what society accepts with revealing close to every part of my body like it's something that's not valuable, and I choose to follow God who tells me that it is more rightous for me if I cover this way.
What do you choose to do? Heed to soceity's wants and desires and call yourself "free" in the process?
I beg to differ.

When they accept Jesus and their Lord and saviour and emulate his life In the WORD of GOD.
No one is ever truely free with Jesus.
We are bound by our own selfish desires.
