To my knowledge, not many have heard of this one (at least in the debating I've done). In all honesty, this is one of the reasons (not the only) that I believe as a Christian that the Bible is divinly inspired by God. Scriptures such as Isaiah 52:13-53:12 are quite intreaging as well, but as far as I can see, this gematria phenomena is breathtaking.
Opinions, comments, rebutals, additional information... all are welcome within good taste.
(btw, I'm new to this place, so forgive me if this has already been brought up)

To Stanton:
I forgot to post it when I posted the question, but I've added a link to an article about it. It's the best explanation of the phenomena that I've found.
To Gastounet:
The Bible is not fiction, but in many respects a very reliable historical document. The spiritual aspect of the Bible is up for interpretation of course, but historically it's accuracy is hardly disputed.
To Simon:
Thanks for the welcome. I've seen that it can be a pretty malicious place, hahaha. I'm used to it though : )

The Bible is an interesting work of fiction written over a long period by many different authors. It is part of the middle easter tales and legends. God is one of the central caracter of this work of fiction.
The writers invented him you see, it 's not the other way around.

No problem, what you say is true. The Bible is the true inspired word of God. But like 2 Peter 3:3 say, that there will be people who "scoff" at the Bible, people that think the Bible is just a farytale. To those, they better read ROMANS 14:11 For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

I don't think this has been brought up. But I know Gematria can be misapplied in many various ways. For instance, Aiq Bakir can hardly be trusted as reliable. Which cipher are you using?

Sorry, but could you explain the phenomena? I know what gematria is, but not of that verse.
Also, I forget where in exodus, but the Jewish mystic-types have 72 names of God, is it more interesting than that?

Welcome, Felix.
You'll need to keep your cool here; because a lot of people here can be very nasty. Just don't let them bother you.
The End of Days, that you're referring to is something that lots of people have been clamoring about.
It ain't happened, though.
don't worry, BEE HAPPY!!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!
