Wow! Really interesting seeing the answers, I never would have guessed about 90% say in retrospect, they would spend LESS.
Gives me food for thought for sure. I don't want to go broke over a wedding!

Just wouldn't have spent so much money on professional photography for portraits, etc.

I would say that if i had my wedding all over again, these day it would cost me a whole lot more than it did when i got marriage, so i would have to say more

No on the wedding, Yes on eloping!
If we could do it ALL over again, we'd travel to California and elope in the Redwoods!! So yeah, would need traveling expenses, etc. :o)

No, I would definitely not spend the same amount.....I would get married at city hall and use the money saved for a down payment on a house.....BUT, when you are young and in love you are foolish......good luck to you!

No way! I'd elope and go on a nice long vacation. It was silly how crazy I got. When I look back all the prep was horrible. The only good part was my husband!

I loved my wedding, still do but I would spend way less. I was trying to impress.. myself and I sure did that!

I loved my wedding. And honestly, if I did it all over again, I'd probably spend more. Get nicer invitations and favors.
