I was 18 when my daughter was born. 17 when I got pregnant with her. I finished high school and some college. I look alot younger than what I am, so now when I tellpeople I have an 8 year old. LMAO I get some weird looks. I look like I"m 20 when I'm 26.
I of course got the usual, well you made your bed lay in it, why wasn't you using birth control ect, crap. .. But I was on the pill had been for well over a year. Sometimes things happen.
How did I handle everything? I just keep going and pushing myself.
I lived with my parents till I was 22, they have a big house so it wasn't no big deal and heck my brother is 24 and still lives there. They have been really helpful in raising mydaughter. I work Full time. And no the father left while i was still pregnant. He is several thousand dollars behind in child support and has seen her 3 times her entire life.

I am 19 and 5 months pregnant and incredibly happy. To my surprise our families were more excited than we were. I have a career that i absolutely love and so does my fiance. GRaduated college and everything. My fiance doesn't even want me to go back to work until our child is in school! Even though i kinda want to, i'm pretty much a workaholic. I hate when people judge young [parents i have a house and eveything! I think i am goingto be a great mother

I had my son at 18. Now days its not acceptable but its not about them its about you and your child. They think young parents cant raise kids sure some can't but I have seen better 16 yr old mothers then some 40 yr old mothers ! It all depends on the person.

I don't know about acceptable, but it is becoming more common. I think that teenagers should think about getting a career after high school before trying to have a baby. Always make your b/f wear a rubber. Even if you love him.
