No problem but you must put something in the collection basket.

Well Mafia bosses are ALL Catholic, they ALL kill people, they ALL confess their sins, and they ALL get the absolution since no priest can report the content of a confession, no matter what; so, if Mafia bosses appearently go to Heaven, even a Catholic Pope's killer would..wouldn't he?;)

if he honestly Confessed to God and regretted the sin then yes. the pope is only a man the same as any other God does not put a higher value on his life compaired to mine.

And how many Hail Mary's would you have to say for that?
Probably there aren't enough Hail Marys - I think Popicide is a pretty serious sin in Catholicism. To get absolution I think you'd have to do something like, I don't know, give your priest a hummer.

I don't mean an H3.

God doesn't judge us by the severity of our sins. A Sin is a Sin. When and if we are truly sorry about the things we have done wrong (Murder included) and ask God for forgiveness we are forgiven! God hears our hearts not our words. Hearts don't lie mouths do. Our God is a forgiving God

If he truly repents, then yes. When Pope John Paul II was shot, he visited his would-be killer, and forgave him.
