Ummmmmm......Well,..... I have a sixteen stitch scar in my arm from my ex husband when he cut me from his madness over a fight about party appetizers. Does that count? I think an appetizer fight is more bizarre than wallpaper (afterall....wallpaper lasts a few years and party appetizers go bad the next day unless you serve something that has msg or is one of those things you can take up into outerspace and still won't go bad.....oh wait...i digressed). So clearly I deserve best answer here. Unless you can prove to me that the wallpaper you chose was not floral or had some magenta or something in it....in which case I would have to say you deserved the stabbing......or something involving pliers. If the wallpaper was that fuzzy flocky **** then I cant even begin to tell you what she SHOULD have done to you.

I know someone who was stabbed by their girlfriend and once she had gotten away with that, the violence escalated.
For a person to get that extremely violent over wallpaper then the guy needs to consider whether the relationship should continue or suggest anger management classes. If she is not willing to seek help or admit that the behaviour was extreme then you have some serious thinking to do.
Good luck!

Haven't been stabbed over wallpaper. But I did have the wife throw a full glass of soda in my eyes and then punch me in the face.

No, but if you are asking what to do about it, press charges. Women physically abuse men every day, but we are too tough to report it, cause we think it makes us weak. Women should be held accountable for violence just as men are.
If you haven't already, get out! Nobody deserves to be treated like that. If she is capable of stabbing you over wallpaper, what more is she capable of over something more serious?

Maybe you should call the police if she stabs you! I've broken 2 gingerbread houses, a lamp, and a plate while arguing with my husband...I never stabbed anyone!
