I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but 'taking a break' is as bad as it gets. It's either a way for someone to break up with you slowly because they don't have the balls to actually say they want to break up or it's simply a horrible idea that people use to try and fix their relationship. Chances are good that he simply wants to break up with you without having to deal with the great big tearfest that you'll no doubt give him. Wow, that sounded insanely cold, but it wasn't supposed to.. Were I you, I'd first take him aside and ask him if he still wants to be with you and if he does tell him you want to try and make it work now. No breaks. Tell him you two can go as slow as your unique situation requires and that you think a 'break' will simply ruin any and all chances of it ever working. If he says no, then flat out ask him if this is just his way of breaking up with you without actually having to break up with you. I hope it works out for you, but I don't mean to be so grim but I think hope is all that's left in the relationship.

Let him go.
know what it means? it's either he doesnt' love you anymore or he still loves you but feels he has to go in a cave (yup). If the latter is true, I got it from the book "Men are from mars and women are from venus" by JOhn Gray. It says that sometimes men feel the need to be alone.
Now, after being apart from the you, the guy will realize whether he wants to come back to you or not. It will make him realize whether he loves you or not.
So give him space and let him think. It will also make him miss you, if he truly loves you that is.
But just to be on the safer side, expect that he will not come back. That way, if he didn't you wouldn't be very hurt. But if he did come back, then you'll be surprised and happy.
God bless.

he wanted to take a break or did you both decide on it? Because when you say that you want to take a break, it's an easy way of saying that it's over, and you want to explore new areas. So talk it over and ask him what's really going on, let him know how you feel. If he does break up with you don't feel bad because he probably gots issues. After he settles them he'll come back crawling and begging. Take advantage, Take advantage, don't let the little things get you down in life. It's not worth beating your self up over it, there's many fish in the sea waiting for someone to come along, so give it a chance,GOOD LUCK!!

There's a book called . . . "The reason it's called a break-up is because it was broken". Don't hold on to someone who is not fully and completely crazy about you. You say you love him . . . love is not enough...what of self value? You don't want to lose him? What about losing yourself? Let him go with the grace of the wind. Have a good cry...or two...or three...heal and move forward.

Let him go. It's all you can do, and bow out gracefully, with self respect. If it's meant to be, you'll be together again. You'll have to decide whether or not to you want to take him back after he's done messing around with whoever she is.
