You will hurt her feelings when you break up with her. No getting around it. All you can do is limit the damage. Be gentle and sweet and understand that she will be mad at you, but you will both get over it in time.

No matter which way you choose to tell her, whether softly at first and by showing compassion or by being honest and straight to the poing, you will hurt her either way.

So, you will really hurt her feelings no matter which way you choose, unless of course she's over you.

Also, do yourself and her both a favor and tell her as soon as you can. Give her the chance to find someone else who will love her instead of being stuck with a man (you) who has fallen out of love with her.

God bless.

I've got tears in my eyes for your gal babes, but what can you do when you out grow someone in a relationship????
you can try and be compassionate about it but she is still going to be very upset. The ending of a relationship is always horrible on both parties..... I really hope it's not for another girl Smith???
Either way it has to be done so get it over and done with gently so she can get over you and move on..... it's nice to hear your worried about her feelings still good on ya for being a decent guy there's not many left out there i tell ya.......
Ibanez xoxo

There is probably no way to not hurt feelings regardless of how you break up with her. Gently is the best way or you can just change your address, phone number and mailing address and she should get the hint. If the relationship is one sided, it needs to come to understanding now.

no matter how you break up with her, there's going to be a little or a lot of hurt feelings. the best thing is just to be honest and sensitive to her feelings when you tell her. if it's not working out maybe she sees it too and you'll be able to break up on "good" terms. breaking up is hard, but you'll end up hurting her more if you stay with her and you really don't want to be with her.
