police codes will pretty much be a thing of the past. After the terrorist attacks of 9/11 there has been a great push to eliminate 10 codes and similar means of radio communication and move to plain speaking english over the radio. This was prompted by so many different agencies being involved and all speaking with their own codes. The right hand had no idea what the left was doing.

Good luck! It's like my friends' use the word "Arthritis" for a gal with big boobs. (Picture yourself with crippled, arthritic hands, cupped in front of your chest.) My local PD has a code word "Canadian," but I will not give that one away.
