I don't know how much help this will be but I knew a gray haired guy many years ago and then suddenly his hair slowly turned brown (it's original color). When I asked him how that was happening he said he was taking vitamins.
What ones he was taking I couldnt say but maybe thats something you can check into.

The determination of when someone begins greying, whether it comes with aging or prematurely, seems to be almost entirely based on genetics. Sometimes people are born with grey hair because it is passed down genetically. Many people use hair dye to disguise the amount of grey in their hair.

There are no special diets, nutritional supplements, vitamins, nor proteins that have been proven to slow, stop, or in any way affect the greying process, although many have been marketed over the years. This may change in the near future however.

Live with it man. It is only hair. I am losing mine (32 years old) and it is twice as grey as my father's, but the density and color of my hair do not define me. Your hair is not the issue, your self image is. Look the world in the eye and stop worrying about the hair on your head.

Here's an ounce of perspective: Last week I was at a club with some friends and a blind woman and her nearly blind boyfriend came in. They were not there 20 minutes before we were all enjoying each other and having a great time. Their confidence in themselves and positive outlook on the world around them was infectious. Because they were not hung up on shortcomings which they could do nothing about, they uplifted and enhanced the environment around them.

You are complaining about the color of your hair. How bad can it really be? You too can positively effect the environment around you and it wont require a full head of dark hair......or even your sight.

Good luck!

OH don't stress so much, my mum is your age and she has gray hair and looks fantastic, people complement her on her hair. The only way to stop it or at least hide it is to dye your hair but than again you will only be covering it and will be seen in regrowth. I think the older you get the wiser you become, so your gray hair is just showing you how wise you have become!! good luck.

You can't change your grey hair naturally. There's nothing you can do, except dye it. When your hair becomes grey it loses pigment (melanin) The lighter the grey the less pigment it has.

There is no way to stop it or slow it down - it's partly genetic and partly depending on your metabolism. All you can do is dye your hair.
