Steaming is probably best to hold the nutrients or you can also blanche/boil veggies.

boil them for about 5 minutes.add in a few drops of oil to keep them fresh and a little salt. a well cooked veg will lost its vitamins.

I steam them lightly..still slightly crunchy stage..little or not butter..

steam them just long enough to get them soft & warm

WELL cooking them kills just about everything you are eating them for

or just enjoy them raw - to your health!
