Good question. He apparently died for me, too, and I never even met the bloke. What right does he have to go around dying for people he never even met? If he'd bothered to ask me, I would have told him not to do it. So I resent the implication that I'm somehow complicit, or that I owe him something just because he's dead.
Isn't it possible that he died for everyone BUT me?

Jesus did not break the law. In fact, He fulfilled the law for all of us.

The reason people keep telling you Jesus died for you, is because He did. It's sort of a news flash, you see? They probably figure that since you have not taken Him as your Lord & Savior yet, you must not know the good news!

No, He would not have served us better by staying alive. If He had stayed alive He would not have taken our sins upon Himself. We would then be responsible for our own salvation. And we've already proven how well we suck at that!

I pray this helps you to understand better.

He died for breaking the laws of the hebrew temple. He was a rebel who saw the hypocrisy of this temple and its priests and he was a threat to their livelihoods. People started to listen to him and turn away from the temple teachings. That was the beginning of the end of jesus.

It seem you have an interest to know, but I do not think this Yahoo answer is the best place to learn this kind of thing. Confirming what you know is still good place, learn any teaching for proper understanding, better you go to the place which can satisfy you properly, like church for example. The most important, you should know what you want, its up to you. Thanks

He is alive..it didn't stop at the Crucifixion..three days after He died on the cross..he rose from the dead..He died for you because He loved you and wants you to have a free life from sin and death..and live forever with Him..He loves you..just the way you are.

Jesus is ALIVE. He died and He is resurrected again and now He sits at the right side of God.

Jesus came as a redemption to redeem men of their sins. For it is written that man having sin fall short of the glory of God. Hence, with our own strengths and abilities, we would not be able to go back to our Heavenly Father. Hence, when the Lord is crucified, His blood sanctify us and cleans us of all the sins we had commited and hence we will be able to stand in front of God cleansed.

Who said Jesus died for our sins, this is a very big lie.
Man was crying:My God My God why did you leave me?
That means he is not wishing to die.
