Why I don't understand. been thinking of it a lot. my wife said it was against the law. is this true in all states?

Over the last several years, I have worked with many that have thought of taking their own life but most often, they simply want to know other alternatives. Many simply want to know that someone does care about them.

It is wrong because the reason of ending one's life is based on the wrong premise that it ends the suffering. But death in order to be peaceful one must be mentally and emotionally prepared. Otherwise, it would be literally a living hell. The transgressor can not find peace, becomes a living entity without a physical body - constantly being hunted by his own chaotic mind, communication with the living is almost utterly impossible. His mind becomes the transgress or's powerful enemy, keeping his movement checked within the area of crime scene. It's like a dream. No, more like a nightmare. The transgressor because of the act turned himself into a ghost. It's wrong because the transgressor suffers more than prior ending his life.

There r 2 aspects....
Religious & the Government Laws....
Religious is that your life is the property of GOD...
Only he has the right to give it or take it.....
If u take ur life, it is against GOD's will.
Now Govt. Laws...
U might think that most of the basic laws are derived from religion itself....
Coz every religion some what say the same about attiquetts. GOOD things....
So they r made laws ...

From the religious point of view, suicide is wrong because of the following reason:
Life is not an option but given by God to us. All living things will come to an end including human beings but God has taught us that let all human being die in accordance with the cause and effect permitted by God. We will all die sooner or later but we should die from causes such as old age, disease, accident, and other natural causes.
Taking our own life is amounting to showing disrespect to God who created us. God has make it a universal law that when we kill ourselves, we will die. But that does not mean God accept that kind of behaviour.
In Islamic method, one way to die earlier without offending God is to pray to God repeatedly (everyday or every month) to take back our life. If you deligently pray to God that way, God will grant your wish by letting you die because of natural causes, disease, accident or other allowed means.
Having said that, I believe the best thing is to ask yourself and to others who want to help you, "Why (What is the reason) you want to commit suicide?"
Sometimes people want to commit suicide is because of psychological problem. If that is the case, then the person need help and treatment.

You are a Father in Heaven God and a the mother of Jesus,Saint Mary, Jesus Christ God your Savior,who take care of you and love you unconditionable,such as you are.Will help you,just ask for it.
Speak with them in your heart,in silence,in the intimity of your soul.
One of the rules of God is 'not kill'.
An suicid meens to kill, is a sin.
A men is body and soul,live about the rules of the soul,which is written in Bible,10 rules (OT) and the rule of love which is bring by Jesus in (NT).
God give to us the life,and only God knows when we will die .
We need to live,to teach our soul to be good and so, we will go back to
God in Heaven.Live a simple life,not expensiv,be happy with few material things and with a good soul .

As a humanbeing i wanna ask u this question?
ARE V POWERFUL ENOUGH TO CREATE ANY CREATURES?
the answer is no! Coz v are God's children! He has created us.
The sameway he has rights to take our lives.
But we dont have rights to take out life!
this is what veda's tell us.
It all lies in the natures hand to CREATE NOR DESTROY.
Human beings dont have those rights!!!!!!!!!!
So i strongly say suicide/murder is absolutely wrong & out of natures rule.

suicide is quite okay, in fact it should be encouraged. the only problem with suicide is that its hard to find a painless way of doing it. If there was a way half the people on this planet would have offed themselves.

it is against the law and in Christianity they don't pray on the dead body they only bury it and it is a sin because God gave us this life and he is the only one who should take it

I don't know about all states, but in some they will take you into custody and commit you to a mental institution.
