My Bully ***** went for a poo in the garden a couple of days ago as I'm toilet training my other one I was out there. She had a bit of a mushy but normalish poo then she was walking around straining quite a bit she squeesed out some liquid when I looked it seemed a bit bloody. I wiped her bum coz it had ran down her. I kept an eye on her and about an hour later she had another mormal poo. I checked it for blood but no sign.
Well last night she pood on my mums pillow think she got caught short it wasn't much but when I looked it had a bloody tinge to it.
She does eat all sorts of crap we try and keep the place hazard free from her coz we know what bully's are like but she soo finds stuff E.g eating my other dogs food bowl and chewing up our underware.
I'm taking her to the vet later on today but just wanted a bit of advise on what it could be. I think it could be thet something is scratching the inside of her bowl when she's trying to poo.

She isn't constipates as I said she's been to the toilet as normal.
She's fully Jabbed, wormed etc.
Thanks to the other bully owner for your advise, much needed and I no I'm not alone. Good Job She's insured.

I rang the Vet to have a chat about Lilly. I explained the symptoms etc and her behaviour and the Vet thinks she has obviously eaten something she shouldn't and not to worry as she is still herself, eating and drinking well and playing like crazy and no obvious swelling in her abdomen. She said her bowel may be inflamed and that explains the straining as and circleing as it makes them think there is more to come hence a bit of blood. I had a good feel of her belly etc and she just looked at me like what are you doing mummy. If she had winced or showed sign of discomfort I would of brought her in. The Vet agreed and said if there is any funny coulured or thick bloody discharge from her bowels then to bring her in but don't panick just yet as it will probibly pass. And try and stop her from eating food bowls knickers etc (common sence really).

Thank you everyone for your advise.

bullys are notorius for eating things they shouldnt, underwear seems to be a favourite, our bull terrier will pinch anything she can reach and its taken to her bed, hidden, and consumed during the night when she knows nobodys about.ive lost count of how many mice, keyboards, knickers, tea towels and even the power lead to the pc she's gone through.im sure your bully has eaten something she shouldnt of and just like you say its scratching her inside, the vet will xray her and find what she's been upto,i really hope your dogs fine, best of luck.

Take her to the Vet for sure. Blood in the pooh is never a good sign.

if she has had her parvo jab it wont be that and that you would smell as it is horrible, you are probably right it is prob something scratching her or it is down to straining and she probably tore herself a little, dont worry too much i am sure it wont be nothing serious, but i bet your mum were not too pleased eh lol

good luck

My dog et a pin cushion. If we hadn't got her to vet, she would have been dead and of a horrible death in short order.
