How come at a strip club the waitresses always ask if I want to buy the dancer a drink just as our lapdance is about to begin? How rude is that?! I don't even know the lady yet! I'm about to get pleased and some waitress has to hound me for a $15 drink!!! Why?!?!?!

Strip clubs make the bulk of their money through drinks. It's not uncommon for a customer to buy a drink for a stripper. Some strip clubs will fire the dancer if the she doesn't accept drinks from a customer.

i agree with the second answer. the strip club i go to they give the ladies a drink ticket and they cash them in later for money. I personally have a girl that when i walk in she comes running and knows ill buy her drinks all night and get a couple of dances.
I waitress (which i know by name) knows not to come ask for a drink unless i call her over.

Because men have already been conditioned by society to buy women a drink before they engage in sexual acts, plus the man is thinking about his lap dance and less about his wallet. It's a perfect time to cash in, once again, on our horny rube, you might say. Business is business - and the business of a strip club is to seperate a man and his money by any means possible (first come first served to the employees).

Its a way of avoiding the laws on prostitution. There is a probability that if you 'buy her a drink', she will perorm some form of sexual service for you. Legally she was not doing it for payment, and therefore it would be legal. It makes sense then that each drink is $15!!!!

Well, at some clubs the girls make money when you buy her a drink. But other then that we like to drink too when we are at work. If your cheep *** has to worry about it that much, you really don't have the money to be there any way!

I didn't know their were etiquettes for strip clubs. The one dancing is no lady for being their and neither are you a gentleman.
