Move your head away. Then stick out your hand, shake his hand, and say, "Good to see you!"
If this doesn't seem to take care of it, maybe you should approach him sometime when you're alone and let him know. Something like: "Bill, I noticed that you were kissing everyone when you came in. I don't really feel comfortable with kissing you. Would a handshake or a hug be okay?"
I would definitely not feel comfortable with kissing a casual acquaintance on the lips. I can see why this bothers you.

That is quite awkward and definetely too intimate. What you're doing, turning your head to avoid it, is a great manuveur. Maybe you could politely point out, "No kiss for me, thanks," and smile to make sure he knows you aren't trying to start anything.
Maybe not LICK his wife's face clean. Perhaps try a kiss on the cheek instead? If that doesn't do it. . .A quick kiss on the lips? See how the guy who greets the ladies takes it. Maybe give him a pointed stare/mild glare to help emphasize the point.
Or you can eat a ton of garlic and onions and exhale really deeply in his direction. . .Hehehe! ;)
Peace and good luck!

YES!!!You should but you should also tell the guy whose kissing you that he might get a cold or flu or HIV because the mouth has a lot of germs and he doesn't need to pass it on to his wife. I would have kicked him in the groin if he even tried to kiss me and then I would make a public scene. That is a sexual advance and I would make a police report on it as rape cause he needs to learn a lesson.
Good luck at the party.

I do like one of the previous answers, the "southern belle" approach, don't get close enough for him to kiss you, as if he approaches, put that hand up there, smile and use an accent (watch Blanche on The Golden Girls to practice ) Why sir, it's so good to see you again, why I'm sure that you can't wait to kiss my little ole hand. There would be no way for him to get around it, you've announced what you are comfortable with in a non-threatening manner. Good luck.

Turning your face is a great move. Another suggestion would be to pull your lips way back and show all your teeth. It worked in sex and the city to make the guy feel like never kissing you again. If he says anything, just pretend to be grinning ever so sweetly.

You should just ask him straight out if he is a perv or what. That isn't appropriate in any situation and you shouldn't put up with it. Technically it is sexual harassment and you should threaten to sue. Don't make his wife pay cuz her husband is a jackazz, get some big nasty guy to give him a big fat lick. That would be more appropriate.

LOL! Now that would be funny! Avoid him. If you cant try to shake his hand. If he still tries to kiss you simply say no, dont, put your hand over your face...something. If he STILL doesnt get it and you know this guy let him know you dont appreciate his gesture. Tell someone else he is a problem for you if you have to.

ha sounds like you have a plan already!
the only way to handle this situation is to be the leader. show gesture as to shake hand. and if he leans forward to kiss you, lean back and gently place your hands (flat) on his shoulders and let him know you don't feel comfortable. OR you can tell him you have a cold sore which is very contagious!
good luck

that would work, but might start small riot or fistfight. I would allow him to approach you and then extend your hand in a manner that suggests you want to shake hands. if he he feels comeplled to pull you close, then pull it away and say "a hand shake will suffice, thank you" if he does not let go, jerk it away and create a fist then say "you want some of this, a$$hole. That should resolve the problem. good luck,b'cuz some of us need some space!!!
