I really like this girl I met at the gym, we talk everytime we see each other. She's decent, have a job, educated, beautiful. Ive always wanted to ask her out, but dont have the nerve too. I guess I dont want to ruin a smooth acquaintance/friendship, if she says no. Tonight was different, Ive waited weeks for this. I asked her "Hey do you want to go out with me" I mean if "you're not seeing someone off course." "You eat dinner right?" She told me that cant commit to it, because she works until 9 PM. I asked her " what does that mean? " she said " she cant do dinner." I know she works late, and thats not an excuse. So I guess, what do I do now? I see her at the gym again tommorrow.. Do i still have a chance to ask her out? or thats it? I was just shuned in a nice way. I really like this girl...

Don't ask, this is my advice. Just stay as friends and hang out. Women judge men within 5 minutes after first meeting you know. There is a pretty good chance you will scare her away by asking for dinner or stuff.
However, if you really want to go out with her, ask her to join a big party or ask her to go to see a game with you AND your friends. Anyways, don't make it look like a date or you WILL ruin everything. Just stay cool and maybe in time she will change her mind and start to liking you.

so when do u both go to gym? does she work every day till 9 pm? so do u work? maybe if u don't work she doesn't want to go out with u. i know i wouldn't. but anyway, u asked her out once. she declined. now if she wants to see u she will ask u out herself. usually, if a girl likes a boy but can't come to a date cos of some reason she usually says "well, im sorry, i can't make it cos i need to work (or whatevr excuse), what about we meet with u on tuesday (or whatevr day)? " so she should have offered another date herself. if she hadn't - well, i suppose u know the answer.

Doesn't seem like she is interested, or maybe she was just as nervous? Hard to tell. Try not to ignore her completely because she turned you down the first time. Just acknowledge her the next time you see her, and see how she reacts. Then you can go on from there.

If you don't know someone any other way than just through going to the gym, and they make conversation with you each time, that's an obvious sign of attraction.

That could of been a weak "no thanks". I would try again and see what kind of a response you get. If she says she can't do what you suggest, she is either not interested, or is somewhat curious, but involved with someone. But you won't know any of this unless you ask! Good luck and I hope you get a chance to get to know her better.
