How exactly do you clean your ears with mineral oil?

Question

For instance, how many drops do you use in each ear? How long do you keep the oil in your ear?

if by mineral oil you mean baby oil, i do it like this. i get a cotton pledgette and moisten (not wet) the end w/ baby oil. then i use it to soften the wax inside the ear and get it out.

I have heard of this but from my vet when my dog had ear mites. I think you should be safe and get the ear wax removal kit from any drug store and some q-tips and a bobby pin. Sometimes if the build up is severe ( my bro had this as a child) a doctor will clean your ears out with a long spoon like instrument.

two drops, 1 minute... each... from what i remember. dont take my word for it though.. i was young and i had this special drops that the doctor gave me when i had buildup... i dont think it's mineral oil
