I think what you want to point out (or highlight) is the flaw in the concept of Jesus as God or son of God.
It is interesting that Islam eliminate the flaw in this type of reasoning (regarding the teaching that Jesus is the son of God) by introducing an Islamic approach on how to view Jesus with respect.
Islam view of Jesus:
Islam teaches its followers to love Jesus and other special human beings (i.e. the prophets) such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Muhammad.
Jesus is special but he is still flesh and blood, a human being. He is special because he was choosen by God to be His messenger (prophet) in this earth.
As Jesus is a human being, he has a human characteristics; he eats, sleeps and do what human being does. The different is this: Because he is the choosen one (i.e. the prophet) he will only do good things. He will never commit any sin.
Jesus as human being can die but God has destined him to live until the end of the world. Near the Judgment day, Jesus will come back to earth.
Hence, if we follow the Islamic teaching regarding Jesus, we will understand why Jesus did not introduce technology to his people at his time. One of the main reason is that he is a human being and not God the All Knowing.

Maybe you should think of this. In the time of the great depression in the US. Our whole money system was shoot. We had no jobs and no money. Then in a 6 year period of time. As christians prayed all over the nation. The inventions came rolling in. The Cotton gin. The electric light, The sowing machine, The list goes on and on. All these invention came from different folks with different back grounds all educated at different levels. Some jews, some chrisitans. Prayer is what gave us technology and God is the one who answered the prayers. And if you do not know that prayer is what got us thru WWII you are just nuts.

If you look through history you will see that when man discovers anything or invents anything the world is not ready for it and while many inventions make life easier today they would have just complicated things and Jesus belived that healing the sick and comforting the oppressed was far more importent the giving man television or space shuttels

But He did, Daniel!... But, only when it is the right time....
Mozart created a symphony from a dream.... When the time was right, he wrote it down and recorded it before a mass.
Not every man is meant to understand all at once.... Life gradually learns to accept what it is being offered when the time is right......
