My dad woke but his clock was broken. ON his watch it was 2:00 pm. SO he thought "Oh I am so awake and had a good sleep." BTW, he slept real late like 3 am. Then he realized it was 8:30 pm and he thought "Oh, I'm so tired. I didn't sleep enough."

So tiredness IS physological? Agree?

Tiredness is actually a function of the brain. The body could go on and on - it's the mind that needs the rest and the dreams. So from that perspective I would say there is a good possiblity that tiredness is psychological.

Peace!

i guess in some ways it can be psychological, and to some extent you can 'convince yourself' that you are or are not tired, but sleep is absolutely vital to human life. there are quite a lot of fascinating and recent studies on sleep and its effects on health, and the results are often surprising. it's more important than i, as an often sleep-deprived college student, would like to think. for starters, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep.
