Jesus said beware of "False" prophets, not true prophets. Prophet Muhammad was a true prophet. He was a true messenger, who succeeded to establish a religion which was universally recognized and soon became a major religion. If Muhammad was a false prophet then it would make Islam a false religion. False something can't survive for 1500 years with quite triumphant style.

Also, Islam is the only non-Christian religion which recognizes Jesus as a mighty prophet of God. Islam accepts most of Jesus's teachings.

A brief explanation of what happens if you think Muhammad is a false prophet:

"If someone thought that Muhammad, on whom be peace, was not a Prophet, rather a tyrant ruler, then, it implies that he ascribed a lie to God, brought before the people something not revealed by Him, then, continued to declare the lawful as unlawful and the unlawful as lawful, declared the old Scriptural Laws null and void, slew the people, and destroyed the true followers of earlier Prophets. Yet, he is led to victories after victories. He claimed that all that was by Allah's (God's) command sent down to him. And the Lord God Himself watched him do all that in His Name, annihilating the followers of truth and continuing to lie for no less than twenty-three years. Indeed, Allah (God) seem to have helped him achieve all that, let him overcome everyone, prepared the grounds in supernatural circumstances to lead him to victories. Moreover. He even answered his prayers, destroyed those opposed to him and raised his name over all others. Now, for Allah to let someone commit all that, in His Name, and, instead of uprooting him, help him in his plans, is only possible if Allah (God) Himself is a tyrant, an oppressive Being, and a transgressor. Inevitably, that would lead the people to the belief that this world has no Creator nor a Lord above all. Had there been one, he would have stopped this person from doing all that. Indeed, He would have punished him with an exemplary punishment for the satisfaction of the rest of the world. The 'no action' response does not befit even an ordinary king of this world. How then does it fit the King of kings and the Ruler of all rulers??"

Also, a false prophet would never struggle for 23 years, sacrificing his own happiness and luxuries, giving away all of his assets, striving to remove idolatry and sins, uprooting evil acts and establishing the oneness of God and equality and justice. A sane man would never spend that much time to spread lies by taking constant life threats. If he was insane, then Islam would never become a successful world religion without any flaws.

Jesus was talking about Moses, the prophets and the churches when he said "beware of false prophets". Revelation 13 is concerning the time from Abraham until the coming of Jesus the Christ as revealed in Revelation 14 and 15. Matthew 1:17 confirms that the time from Abraham until Jesus the Christ are the same as Revelation 13:15. Wisdom: 1 kings 10:14 is (666) as revealed in Revelation 13:18 six hundred threescore and six. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (John 3:14, Revelation 13:13-15, Moses, the 10 plagues , the parting or the reed sea, the fire which came down from the sky). and Numbers 21; 7 And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. This is not God the Father, for no man hath ever heard the voice of God the Father (John 5:37) Moses is being deceived by the serpent. The serpent, I am that I am, the devil has taken the name of God in VAIN, and deceiveth the wohle world. The rest of the passage to "False Prophets" Matt 7: 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Moses killed many people, nations and tribes, he even killed more than 3000 men, women, and children of his own people in the name of his god.

Well he never said that he is the last prophet..and so the possibility for a new prophet was still there.and he had mentioned Muhammad(pbuh) in Bible(the original one) as there will be a prophet with the name 'Ahmad(original name of Muhammad)..and Muhammad(pbuh) claimed that he is the last one..and now whoever claim to be a prophet is lie..Even Muhammad told us about many false prophets......and many of the Muhammad Prophesies have proven to be true and still more is comming...so answer to your question is No muhammad(pbuh) was not a false prophet.........he came with the same message of God which Jesus(pbuh) had brought to jews....he is just like a next bead in the chain of prophets...infact the last one.Jesus(pbuh) himsled never called him a God or son of God and he always asked God for help...He was human and holy prophet. But not a God. Well those fake sites telling fake crap about Muhammad(pbuh) can't make him a false prophet..He is the true one.

islam is the only non-christain religion which believe in Jesus.

Muhammad, who began claiming Prophet status a long time after Jesus was crucified, hundreds of years in fact and a few thousand years after the Torah was around, told his followers to honor the 'Holy Teachings of Scriptures' refering to those in existance, but which he clearly just followed selectively.

His teachings where about his life, justifying actions that in todays world would land him in jail.

As this self proclaimed Prophet went through the countryside, he gathered a group of like-minded men and went to gather power in wealth, land, wifes and slaves.

How was this done? He didn't just happen upon land and wealth unclaimed, rather he took it.

He used skills of deception, ambush, and outright hatred to justify violence, murder and slavery. He would justify everything by claiming this Prophet status, claiming he was acting on exclusive direction from Allah.

The few writings were found 150 years after he died and were not complete, suggesting that his child-bride [age nine when he was 53] wrote and edited some of it.

The Propet Status of Muhammad was actually recognized by the Warlords that ruled that area of the Middle-East and they hired 'Muslim" to travel about gethering stories that had been verbally told from generation to generation throughout the centuries. The Quran was born and this self-proclaimed Prophet was toted as a referance to claim the Law of Islam that justified the Warlords actions with a 'God" refered to as Allah [which translated also means black, as in black skin people].

So this self proclaimed Prophets adventures are captured from notes and memory in the Quran. It is throughout the Quran were he claims for example, that he was instructed to sign a treaty, and then gathering the people together and surrounding them, he told them he and allah had decided to break the treaty and they could either convert or die.

Yes, Muhammad claimed to be the voice of Allah, his Prophet, as he used violence and extortion to claim land, wealth, women, children, slaves, and to decieve and lie to followers.

The Quran is full of his instructions of violence, intolerance, deception and abuse of women and children, by today's standards and the criminal law that protects the world from such a "Prophet".

If you read the teachings, especially the part about how it is okay to have sex with a child after they menestrate [which can be nine], and the hatred of Jews and Christians, and how it is approved by Allah to murder, torture, kill and steal, then you will see that clearly Muhammad was not a voice of God, and while he might have been a prophet of something, he was one of the false Prophet's that Jesus was warning us about.

Muhammad is definitely a false prophet. So is Joseph Smith.
Christianity says that Jesus Christ died 2000 years ago on a cross and that's written in their Holy book, the Bible which they say is coming from God. Muhammad said Jesus Christ did not die on a cross 2000 years ago and that's written in the Islamic Holy book the Koran(which they also say is coming from God and which Muhammad wrote). My question is, what actually happened 2000 years ago? You can't have it both ways. Either he did die on a cross or he didn't die on a cross. If he did then Islam is not a true revelation from God and Muhammad was not a true prophet because Islam and Muhammad said he didn't die on a cross(can God be wrong?). If he didn't die on a cross than christianity is wrong. . Why should I believe Muhammad who came much later(600 years later) over the apostles and writers of the New Testament who were either eye witnesses or they got it from eye witnesses(regardless, all of them lived during that time period). Also, the church fathers and early scholars of the church all testified that he died on a cross. Even extra biblical historians such as Tacitus, Suetonius, Pliny the younger, Josephus, Thallus and other historians who lived during that time period have testified that Jesus died on a cross. Actually, the only historians that you'll ever find anywhere(religious or secular) who will say that Jesus didn't die on a cross are Muslim historians. If i'm reading an eye witness account of a speech that Richard the lion-hearted gave in about 1190AD and you come up to me and say "no, that's not what he said.....let me tell you what he really said". My answer to you is going to be "why should I believe you over him....he was an eye witness.........you came along 900 years later".
The Islamic religion teaches that Jesus Christ was a practicing Muslim(despite the fact that islam had not come into existence for another 600 years). The Koran( which Muhammad wrote) implies in sura 4:157, that God causes someone who looked like Jesus to die on the cross in his place, therefore tricking the apostles of Christ and His mother Mary into thinking he was crucified. But that says that the rise of Christianity to the largest religion in the world is ultimately the result of the divine action of Allah? Even the bible says that the resurrection is the foundation for the christian religion. The early christians simply would not have died for their faith by the millions simply to spread a faith founded by a crucified Messiah. The thing that energized them was their confidence that He had risen from the dead to prove He was actually the prophecized Messiah. If the resurrection was just a deception that Allah was involved in(as the Koran says) then Allah is responsible for christianity. Therefore, muslims shouldn't be killing christians all over the world since their god brought christianity into existence. But christianity and Islam diametrically contradict each other. The laws of logic say they can't both be true. But if only one is true and Allah is god and Allah brought christianity into existence, then christianity must be true and Islam must be false.

No Muhammad [Peace be upon him], only received revelation from God. To bring people back to the straight path of Abrahamic Monotheism, believing in God alone and not associating partners with him. God doesn't have sons or daughters, he is far above such blasphemy. Check that link its good knowledge for persons inquiring about such things.
